Boat Day to Capri

9:30 AM: Meet at the marina to board the Rosely boat to Capri.

We will dock in Capri and have approximately 4 hours on the island. We will communicate the exact time and meet up location for boarding the boat again.

Once in Capri, everyone is free to spend the day however they wish!

Here are some options:

- Take the funicular to Capri center where you will find all kinds of shops and restaurants. The Carthusia perfume factory is beautiful and a great place to grab a Capri souvenir.

- Head to Anacapri to take the chairlift to Monte Solaro for 360 degrees views of the island, and explore Villa San Michele.

- Have lunch

Once we meet back at the marina to board the Rosely, we will have the rest of the day to tour around Capri on boat, see the Faraglioni, and get in the water before making our way back to Sorrento.

The whole day will be approximately 8 hours, so we should end up back in Sorrento around 6 PM.

Welcome Party @ Peter's

Join us for a relaxed welcome cocktail at Peter’s Beach, a beautiful waterfront spot set on a pier overlooking the Bay of Naples. We’ll gather at 7:00 PM to enjoy drinks, light bites, and the sunset over the ocean.

At approximately 9:30 PM, the venue’s beach club opens to the public with a DJ and dancing, and we're all welcome to stay and keep the celebration going.

Wedding Day @ Casale La Torre

Our wedding day will begin with transport to the villa. We will be providing shuttle service for guests who prefer not to arrange their own taxi; full pickup details will be shared closer to the date.

Guests will arrive at the villa around 5:00 PM, where welcome cocktails will be served as everyone settles in. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour overlooking the sunset.

We’ll then move into the reception for dinner and dancing as we celebrate into the night. At the end of the evening, we will have transportation back to Sorrento arranged for guests, and we’re happy to help coordinate taxis to individual accommodations as needed.

If you plan on joining us for all the wedding events, we would recommend arriving on Wednesday, September 2nd to settle in before the boat day on Thursday.

Step 2: Naples Airport to Sorrento

If you need any help with this step, please reach out directly to Camila or Jordan with the dates that you'll be arriving to Naples Airport for us to help you coordinate your transfer to Sorrento.

Options include: a private transfer by car, train, ferry, or shuttle/bus.

- Private Transfer: You may book a private transfer through various companies, we recommend booking an airport transfer through: Daytrip

- TrainArrive to Naples Central Station or Naples Piazza Garibaldi. From here take the local “Circumvesuviana” train to the Sorrento stop. Trips available every 20 minutes. The trips takes about 1 hour.

- FerryThe Molo Beverello (Beverello Pier) is located adjacent to the Maritime Station at the Port of Naples in front of the Town Hall Square (Piazza Municipio). The Pier offers daily ferries to Sorrento. The trip takes approximately 45-50 minutes. The journey is more comfortable than the train, however it is more expensive. The arrival of ferries in Sorrento is the Marina Piccola (Small Marina) and you may reach the city of Sorrento by taking the local bus to the city center (top of the hill) or a taxi.

- Shuttle or BusCurreri bus to Sorrento leaves the square in front of the airport station. Every day six daily trips are available connecting the airport and Sorrento in more or less one hour and 15 minutes. The bus is just outside the Arrival gates.

Hotels

The wedding is in Massa Lubrense, which is just a 20 minute drive from Sorrento city center. Guests can stay in either location based on their preferences. We would recommend Sorrento to be more centrally located.

WEEKEND ATTIRE

Thursday, September 3: The boat day to Capri will consist of our transport from the marina in Sorrento to Capri, 4 hours to explore in Capri, and then on our return, we will get to enjoy the ocean for a couple of hours. So be sure to bring a swimsuit and a comfortable cover up to walk around Capri.

Friday, September 4: The welcome party at Peter's is dressy casual. It's a beach club so feel free to come flowy and comfortable.

Saturday, September 5: The wedding is formal attire. Here is some inspo! Think Italian summer. Colors welcome!

Ladies, please note that the villa has a lot of grass areas so we would recommend a chunkier block heel for maximum comfort.

RECOMMENDATIONS

If you're looking for some suggestions for your time in Sorrento, we have organized some below!

General Sorrento Suggestions:
- Uber and Lyft are not very active in Sorrento. Taxis are recommended. If you are staying in Sorrento center, taxis should be readily available in most busy streets, and especially in Piazza Tasso. If you would like to have taxi / private transfer numbers to call, here are some that are reliable:
     - Velia Limousine
     - Francesco Gargiulo (+39 338 836 1280) - you may reach out directly through WhatsApp
     - Sorrento Limo (+39 346 092 8343)

Local Taxi Stand Numbers:

     - Piazza Tasso (Main Square): +39 081 878 2204
     - Sorrento Train Station: +39 081 887 2484
     - Sant'Angello: +39 081 878 1428

- Cards are widely accepted but we recommend having some cash for taxis, smaller cafes, etc.

- Pro tip: if you are paying with credit card in Europe and it asks if you would like to pay in EUR or USD, always select EUR.

- For exploring nearby coastal towns, we recommend booking ferries rather than private transfers by car to take in the views and avoid traffic. Ferries are very easy to book in advance or you can also go in person to the ferry port in Marina Piccola to purchase your ticket at the time that is most convenient for you. Always be sure to check the return times as operating hours can vary by ferry company and the latest returns tend to be around 6 or 7 PM.

Restaurants (we dined at most of these and can personally vouch for them!). We recommend reserving in advance since September is still peak season - links below.
     - Ibisco Garden Restaurant
     - L'Antica Trattoria
     - Antico Francischiello (In Massa Lubrense area but worth the drive if you're looking to try the best cannelonis!)
     - Ristorante Zi Ntonio
     - Vrasa
     - Ristorante L'Abate
     - Mo Mo Cafe (great for breakfast)

Tours:
     - Guiseppe Gargiulo (Peppe): gargiulo.giuseppe@libero.it, +39 335 582 6230 on WhatsApp
     - Day trip through Amalfi coast
     - Sorrento Farm and Food Tour: Olive oil, Limoncello, and Wine tasting
     - Cooking classes; pizza, gnocchi, pasta
     - Kayak tour through Bagni Regina Giovanna
